What We Do

We provide assistance and support to single parents with special needs children

Housing

Families who are facing housing insecurity, homelessness or eviction will be provided with resources and may be eligible for financial assistance (on a case-by-case basis).

Social Services

The Family Lead Intervention Specialist will conduct a full needs assessment and provide families with referrals for outside resources regardless of their eligibility with BHOH.

Support Groups

Parent Support Groups are facilitated by our Lead Family Intervention Specialist. Group topics are relevant to parent experiences, preferences and needs. Group topics will vary from month to month and are subject to change.

Financial Support

Financial support is based on a needs assessment during intake and is subject to approval from the organization’s management team. Financial amount is based on current needs, program eligibility and availability of resources.

Case Management

Some families may require additional support from outside the BHOH organization. The Lead Family Intervention Specialist will work to connect families with community partners to help them get the support they need.

additional support

BHOH provides a comprehensive needs assessment during the intake phase of the program. Should families require other support services, the Lead Family Intervention Specialist will work collaboratively with families to locate services to get families needs met.
