While there are many organizations and government programs that are directed specifically to the special needs child, wholistic support of that childs’ family is almost non-existent.
To see a special needs child truly thrive, the child must have:

- Family with Stable Income
- Help Finding Available Resources
- Support and Therapy for the Parent

How we guide single parents in a one-year transformational course to success
Identify Clients
Bella’s House of Hope is developing a network across the State systems through Social Workers who can identify potential applicants for BHoH.
Application Process
We have developed a rigorous application process designed to identify parents that will fully benefit from our work. Our process identifies personality traits, issues and concerns, current status, current needs and allows us to project future success of applicant. Our goal is to move the parent from zero to fully self sustained over a period of time.
Assessments
We conduct three separate interviews with a viable candidate:
- With our staff Social Worker
- With our staff Psychologist
- With our Founder, Nadia Gastelum
This allows us to place the parent on the proper trajectory for success.
Entry Level
We understand that not all situations are equal and parents will enter our system at varying degrees of need. This is why we have developed three levels of entry depending on the results of the client assessment.
Level 1
BHoH can fill minor gaps in services to help push the parent to a fully self-sustainable life.
Level 2
BHoH can fill larger gaps in services to help push the parent to a fully self-sustainable life.
Level 3
Our core client, Level 3 parents require the most amount of support right away.
90 Day Cycle
The first 90 days are critical for future success and the First 90 is where a significant amount of time, effort, energy and money is spent with the goal of recreating a solid foundation for our parents.
We move all our parents through 90 day cycles so we maintain assessments of progress and can infuse the right level of support at the right time.

We Cannot Do This Without Your Support
Our client families are in desperate need of your assistance. Our services provide critically needed support that requires a large monetary investment.
We currently raise funds through individual donations and sponsorships through our yearly golf tournament fundraiser and other smaller campaigns throughout the year. While these sources of income have helped tremendously, our objective is to have supporters who pledge larger amounts to our organization for a set number of years – becoming a source of reliable income for us to plan and support our parents.
Our ultimate fundraising goal would be to establish an endowment that will fund and support our efforts indefinitely. There will ALWAYS be special needs children and there will always be a need for our support.
